We met Putu Rika when looking for a taxi and he drove us from Nusa Dua to Kuta/Leggian beach.
In just 5 minutes we realized that he was a really nice person with many stories. We exchanged a lot during the drive. We decided to ask him to bring us back after my Surf lesson and Late lunch.
We called him again to go to Ubud and spent the afternoon and evening there. We left at 12 PM to avoid the traffic and came back around 9 - 10 PM.
The drive took 2 hours with trafic and only 1 hour back. (Most people leave at 6pm so at 9 pm the road is pretty much empty)
Putu (means the first son) explained us a lot about the Balinese culture, history and Indu religion.
He speaks a very good English.
Another day we called him for another trip to Kuta, even if he was already booked, Putu found a way to call his brother to drive us. His brother was as nice as him and it was nice to find us a solution because no taxi were available due to a big celebration.
We had a very good time and we highly recommend him. - via
