Very nice holiday site. It is wide-open to weather (no trees or nearby foliage) rather like being on NJ or NC barrier islands, so it can get windy and rain can be relentless. No privacy between sites either. Came in for two nights but needed to leave after first one - but staff would not grant refund even though sites were in demand and I asked very early in the day (they would’ve rented the site to another small RV). Cold weather rolled in after all - very chilly, wet, windy. Many campers left before morning (forfeiting their fees). Nice location - walk to beach. New bridge has dedicated footway so that’s a pretty good hike over the inlet and back. Primitive (tent) spots are only on southern side & northern side has mostly full-hookup RV sites. Have stayed at both and both sides’ bathrooms and showers are very good. Did observe that non-paying day trippers parked outside and walked in for toilets and showers. Rates are a little high for a state park but that may be due to the beachfront location. Will definitely return here! - via google
