We did a lot of research into dive companies on on the island before deciding to go with Island Divers Roatan, and we are SO glad we did!
It had been 5 years before our last ocean dive but we decided to go for our AOW anyway. Needless to say I was fairly nervous and very rusty!
Thankfully our instructor Ted was super patient with me, gave me lots of helpful tips in a way that really stuck and his relaxed energy was so calming that I instantly felt at ease. It’s really great to be guided by someone that is so clearly passionate about their work and love sharing it with others. He definitely made the experience much more enjoyable!
I particularly loved that they kept their groups small, meaning you have your own space on the boat and underwater. Also all their gear is top notch quality and well maintained.
I’m very impressed. Would happily recommend to all! 10/10 - via
