What an amazing memorable experience me Jim, and my partner Ali, have had today with a company called Prodive at Occidental Xcaret. It was a 3 in 1 all day excursion which we booked the previous day with Ana & Charlie but there was no pressure from them and it took 3 visits for me to make up my mind to do this. Greeted the next morning, introduced to our guide Gustavo and our driver Chucho. Gustavo paramount concern from start to finish was our safety and that of our surroundings and the world he lives in, and with Chucho's help he made the day an incredible experience
The sights you will see on this excursion are like no other - the underground caves are spectacular and the swim with turtles unforgettable. I would also like to mention Julio who was our guide and chaperoned us through Tulum where there are ancient Mayan historic ruins. His knowledge is impeccable and he spoke in many languages so everyone could understand the history of the Mayan people. Me and Ali are well in our 60s and felt safe at all times.
