I'm 62 and my son is 24. We had a really fun day, though most of the customers were under 21. We wakeboard, ski, and kneeboard behind my Yamaha ski boat (in-water take-offs) north of Chicago every summer. This "dock" take-off was different, but fun. The octagon shape of the rope-circle causes "slack" areas at the octagon corners, so you need to hang near the markers on the corners, but can cut inside and outside on the straight stretches. Different then a boat, but still fun. The staff was nice, and in January 2023 the water was warm (but anything, but Minneapolis is warmer than Chicago in the winter). Next winter we'll try the jumps. - via
