Scuba diving in Puerto Vallarta was a lot colder than I expected, and the visibility was pretty poor on our day. There wasn't a whole lot of sea life, but we did spot an octopus and got a close visit from a giant Manta Ray, which were both rare and awesome experiences.
Despite the poor conditions, the dive center itself were professional, affordable, and a solid experience. I'd recommend them if you want to dive while you're here. - via
