Between Capt. Earl Devaney and the Cadet officers I learned how to take orders and later in my cadet life how to give orders. I attained the rank of Master Sgt. at how and went on to Ohio U. after graduation. I did one semester at O.U., quit and enlisted in the Navy. After Boot Camp and Radar School I volunteered for UDT. While in training I was approached by a Lt. Commander from the Navy Beach Jumpers and he requested that I join them due to a qualification I had with ECM and he wanted me. I transferred to the Beach Jumpers and was involved in two Special Operations. After 6 years I got out of the Navy and became a police officer and my last 7 years on the job I was on the Governor's Task Force on organized crime. I am married with 2 wonderful kids who have excelled and I also have grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Howe definitely played a part in all of my life especially Capt. Earl Devaney and one teacher I had at Howe who was Mr. Pagin. I learned how to take and give orders and how to work with others so as to make the outcome of the job come together smoothly. Thank you Howe and Capt. Devaney for what you taught me! - via
