Just got PADI certified! ?? Lahaina Divers was referred by a good friend, and boy was she right! Parker, Jess, and Natalie you guys are AWESOME and I cannot praise you enough for making it so easy to complete this adventure.
Day 1: confined dive with Parker. What a cool, knowledgeable, efficient (and funny!) man. We had a lot of fun and covered all the basic exercises to prepare for the ocean.
Day 2: open water with Jess. She is a very smart and trustworthy buddy, and had my back at every moment. She also knew every single fish we came across, and we saw a couple of beautiful nudibranchs.
Day 3: open water with Natalie, a vibrant and enthusiastic instructor who made the final day a joy to experience. Because of her encouragement I became much more comfortable underwater, and now I am a certified diver.
Seriously the whole team just seems like they have a lot of fun while simultaneously working hard to ensure maximum safety. I was sad when I found out Parker wouldn’t be my instructor for the whole course but that quickly turned to delight when I got to meet Jess and Natalie. If you’re thinking about getting certified, you’re in great hands. These people know what they are doing and they will give you a first class experience that will last a lifetime.
Other shoutouts to Captain Brad, Dana, Kassidy (always there to make sure I got back the stuff I kept leaving behind ?????), and Greg (the owner). Team efficiency and attitudes are directly influenced by management, and it is glaringly obvious this operation is managed exceptionally well. What a cool group of people. 5/5 A+.
