Completed my Open Water PADI at Blue Marlin Trawangan last month and can't recommend them highly enough!
Our instructor Vivien was fantastic, very patient and understanding, providing great demonstrations in both the pool and ocean.
And the location is perfect, with the centre and practice pool mere steps from the ocean where you hop on the boats.
We stayed at the Blue Marlin Hotel while completing the course, and though it wasn't the cheapest accommodation around, it was definitely worth it. As was nice being part of the community during our course, being able to roll out of bed into the water, enjoy the food and bar at the centre, as well as spending the evenings with the instructors who were all beyond friendly and welcoming. - via
