Unlike our past five sailing trips with other companies, which were fun, client-focused and had consistent standards across boats, this one was dreadful. Everything here depends on the interpersonal skills of the skipper - or lack thereof. Our skipper was volatile and toxic. There was no recourse. His rules changed on a whim, and he put our health at risk throughout the week of our sail, even after an intervention. However, the other boat's skipper was the opposite - inclusive, very professional and absolutely lovely. The two boats had completely different policies and approaches yet sailed side by side. The food was poor on our boat, and we often ran out. We left early, our boat down to three, with one desperate to leave and another couple already having left earlier. It's a roll of the dice. As a result, the experience varies widely, but 3600 euros a couple for a week is an enormously expensive gamble. Be prepared to win or lose. - via
