This was my second time here and again, it was fun. But as before, there was way too much sitting around and waiting. We signed up for a 10 AM ride and shoot, but I think they bumped us to a later group because we didn’t start the tour until 1130. We shot guns for about 10 min and then spent the rest of the time sitting and waiting.
Once we got started, it was a lot of fun. Good professional guides and staff. They are very attentive to safety. The trail was just about the right length and difficulty for me as a past rider, but may have been a little challenging for beginners.
One tip: If you are in a group where some want to shoot and others don’t, then don’t sign everyone up for the ride-and-shoot package. The non shooters still have to pay for the whole package although their ammo can be give to a shooter. It’s better in my opinion to enroll everyone in the trail ride and then let selected members purchase the shooting separately. - via
