It was then that we came up with the idea that we would like to go ski touring in the remote wilderness of Canada. Barbara and Günter organized a tailor-made trip to the Yukon for us at the beginning of 2023. They both know the area around Whitehorse and Atlin very well and so we were able to go on beautiful ski tours and get to know the country and the people despite the luggage delay and relatively little snow for the area this year and experience a lot more. Wir kannten Barbara und Günter schon von einigen Abenteuern in Österreich. Dabei kamen wir darauf zu sprechen, dass wir gern Skitouren in der abgelegenen Wildnis Canadas gehen würden. Barbara und Günter organisierten uns eine maßgeschneiderte Reise nach Yukon zum Jahresbeginn 2023. Die beiden kennen sich in dem Gebiet um Whitehorse und Atlin gut aus und so konnten wir trotz Gepäckverspätung und für das Gebiet dieses Jahr relativ wenig Schnee wunderschöne Skitouren gehen, Land und Leute kennenlernen und eine Menge mehr erleben.
