Wanted to snorkel, and ended up with more or less a small group guided tour as there weren't many participants with us on the trip. We had hoped to launch from St. George area but because of our time requirements ended up at Hamilton. Called to coordinate and set up the trip, turns out the only trips they offered that fit our availability were from Hamilton. Went with it and had a blast. There weren't many folks on our trip so it was more of a private guided tour than the expected group snorkel trip.
The captain was experienced and answered questions that came up about the island, reef, just about everything. We snorkeled at two sites, didn't feel rushed at any point. Saw plenty of fish, reef and even a shipwreck. My partner had been nervous to snorkel because of their fear of fish but the trip was so captivating they forgot about being scared. Ended up enjoying the time in the water and now wants to go back!
Thank you to the shore-side staff that guided us to this trip and location. As well as an extra thank you to the captain that put up with all our questions while still telling us plenty about the island as we passed parts. All while piloting the boat with apparent effortless ease. - via
