Sadly, we had a super disappointing customer service experience. They cancelled 2 hours prior (it was lightly raining), and when we tried to provide feedback that a phone call or email the day before or morning of to warn of a possible cancellation would have been appreciated, the owner was abrupt, defensive, and interrupted me on the phone, only to state that the risk of same-day cancellation was written in the "policy". Considering we had driven 2.5 hours and made childcare arrangements already, simply showing some kindness and empathy and apologizing for the inconvenience would have been more than adequate, but instead, they were not receptive at all to any feedback.
So be warned that last minute cancellations can occur, even in light rain. Because rain is so common in Vancouver, it didn't cross our minds to worry about a last minute cancellation. - via
