My husband and I booked diving with this venture a year ago for our honeymoon in San Diego. WHAT A MISTAKE. We showed up, on time, and were met with nobody. We contacted the "shop" (there isn't one) and called the number multiple times - we even went into the hotel that SD Expositions is supposedly based out of. The hotel staff looked mostly confused, and said they haven't seen the operator, Nick, in an extended time. We finally heard back from Nick and the only thing he had was a list of wild excuses, all of which we were willing to overlook because of the promise to go diving. We attempted to meet up, he arrived over an hour late and spun a story of stolen equipment (regulators) by a disgruntled employee and asked if we could reschedule for later that day. We said yes and we agreed to adjusting the monetary rates for the afternoon dive and the night dive. We arrived for the afternoon dive and Nick never showed up. We tried to contact for over an hour, all the while being completely ignored. We gave up and reached out again for the evening dive, and again we were ignored. We finally received a text message that he would issue us a full refund (just take a look at the screenshots). Low and behold, we never got a refund. We paid through PayPal, started a claim to which he had 10 days to reply. There was no response within 10 days, we received our money back. Problem solved, right?? WRONG. Somehow, this lowlife responded after the deadline and PayPal overturned the decision. All without letting us know. We have text messages from Nick all stating that he would refund us our almost $1,000, and now we are in a completely different boat having lost that $1,000. Don't EVER do business with this unethical and morally corrupt person who fathoms to state he runs a legitimate business. - via Google
