I am writing this review because I am sorely disappointed in my local dive shops. I first went to Dean's when I started at FGCU. I have never regretted it. I bought all of my gear and all of my classes at Dean's. Brent was extremely helpful, and was always there to help. I went in to buy tanks but was a bit indecisive. I came back soon, but they had already been sold. While I was talking with Brent about the tanks, he stopped, picked up the phone, called his supplier, and ordered more right then and there and told me the day to come back and get them. My local dive shop has been quite frankly awful. Everything I've needed, Brent has done right then and there and has never made me wait long. My local dive shop just told me it'd be a week for a visual inspection and a fill...my very impromptu dive is in two days. I KNOW that had I been at Dean's that I would have had those tanks done the same day or Brent would have worked something out for me. I am honestly considering in the future to drive THREE HOURS from my hometown to ever get fills or work done on my gear I am so disappointed with my local dive shops. If you shop at Dean's for gear or classes, you will never be disappointed. - via
