We did the afternoon snorkel and boat ride to Turtle Island, then took a night kayak bioluminescence with the company. It was a great deal for the cost and an even better experience!! Our guide, Juan, was top-notch!!! Good English, extremely knowledgeable, he grew up and had lived his whole life here, and you can really see his passion for these amazing places!! The snorkel spot was fun to explore; there was even a cave to swim down to and see sharks in it!! Turismo Curú has an area on a private beach for us to eat snacks/lunch at and to just relax and enjoy. Which was way better than the main beach, which looked straight out of a resort (hundreds of beach chairs right next to each other...) After enjoying the beach, we rode the boat back and then drove our own car to another area to meet Juan for the kayak adventure. This was our third bioluminescence tour and by far the best!! After an amazing sunset we kayaked to a rocky beach which we had to ourselves. We got to swim with the bioluminescence (we weren't allowed to do that with Eddy's bioluminescence the night before...) swimming with it is so much better than just kayaking around it!! It was a perfect day, made better by Juan, and really the best deal around!!! If you are in the area, you must do this!! We also went to the Curú reserve a few hours before our tour started to hike around and see all the wildlife! - via ![]()
