We took a "partial tour" (5- 6 hours) rather than a full (12 hour) tour. Glad we took shorter tour. Went through 2 locks. Tour is OK, not great, if you have seen other locks. It gets very hot on the boat while the boat is in a lock and not moving.
Despite requesting, we did not get vegetarian food at lunch.
The tour operator is not very responsive. Although promised, we did not get our departure timing until well after 5 pm the day before. We had to call and email before getting the info.
Chris, the onboard guide was excellent. He gave a lot of canal history and other info along the way. - via
