I took a discover scuba diving class here recently. I was nervous about it. I was instructed on the gear, what we were going to be doing In the pool and other important info.
I put the gear on, got in the pool. As soon as I went under and tried to breathe I started to freak. HEAVY AND LABORED. I almost gave up, very close. My Dive Instructor Jodie, God bless her, she got me back under, coached me (under water) to take nice easy breaths. A few minutes later, cleared mask, cleared regulator, ears. A 1/2 hour later I was playing catch with a torpedo toy in the deep end. I had such a good time. I will be getting my cert from Deep Blue. You Rock Jodie! - via
