Overall experience was great, Chiko Titi Sheeba and the Chinese PR (Malaysian GOs) was fabulous throughout our stay. Rooms were clean and amazing, kudos to the housekeeping team. We were there for the sports so here are some feedbacks.
Archery GO was friendly but safety wasn't briefed well. Pleasantly surprised that everybody needed to do swimming test before snorkeling trip. Tennis lesson was considerably satisfactory, GO struggled with his english but appreciate that he tried). Party was early to end but my biggest letdown was the sailing team (team led by Alex). As a sailor myself, I am familiar with the weather and ocean conditions to sail. The sail team came up with excuses to not have to setup the sails in fear of "requests from other guests" under mild but sailable conditions. No personalized touch from the team. When the weather condition is favorable with all the boats out for sail, we requested for the bigger sail (Hobbie 15) but was again told another story that both sails are under maintenance. Basically the first two days, could not sail Hobbie 15 due to mild wind, and the 3rd time due to maintenance. Seems like the team comes up with never ending excuses as to not let you have a little bit of adventure. Not the same club med experience as 3 years ago. - via
