We just returned from Blue Lagoon Resort on the weekend after 7 nights of bliss! My husband and I and our 2 teenage daughters chose this location to experience the real fiji and totally relax and get back to basics. I have to comment that the quality of the resort was so much better than we expected, the photos online don't do it justice. The water was so blue, we had perfect weather and the accommodation was spacious, good quality and the food - OMG..... we read some reviews that the food was fabulous, but we had 3 meals a day and most of this was A-La-Carte with a few fijian banquets to break it up which were also great. The service was absolutely wonderful, the people were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this resort for a family with teenage children, I am not sure if it is for younger children as there is a kids club and a water slide in the water, but not many young kids were there while we were. I only have one negative comment related to the water transfers - they take 4 hours! I was told this by our travel agent, but it really is a very long journey to the Yasawa Island, albeit - worth it.
