BEWARE SCAM COMPANY! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR DEPOSIT!
Rented a boat from them once that had a faulty cushion attachment. They took the thousand dollar deposit, even after negotiation that I was fully willing to pay for the cushion. He said he would call me with the price of said cushion. That never happened. Not to mention he was incredibly rude to us the entire time during both visits. Incredibly condescending and egotistical.
Then we went back (beside our better judgement), because we love fisher island, maybe about a month later. We wanted to rent another boat despite the previous bad experience we were willing to forgive. They said they would need the same fee, the boat rental and 1k deposit to which we agreed.
As we were loading our gear he proceeded to say my husband looked "intoxicated" and he was not willing to rent the boat. (Now mind you he's pushing a wheelbarrow through sand and my husband runs a rehab center ). To which we responded and even pleaded as we were losing time on our rental that he was in no way intoxicated. He told us he was keeping both deposits and we would not be going out on a boat that day, AND HE DID! HE TRIED AT LEAST!
It's now been 2 months Chase bank and I have been fighting with this business for two separate 1k deposits. I finally got a hold of a claim supervisor who cleared the issue for me. - via
