Just returned from our 4th trip to Cozumel and 4th time diving with Eco Divers (which should tell you everything you need to know). We did 3 days of diving with Erik as our divemaster and had a mix of experience in our group. Erik was so good at balancing his attention across the group to cater to different skill levels and really made sure the newbies felt comfortable and relaxed.
The vibes are great with Eco Divers and everyone is very relaxed, easy going, and friendly. You go out on small, fast boats, with extremely experienced divemasters that know the reefs inside and out, and they take great interest in the ecology of their environment and how to best protect it.
Thank you Erik, Jorge, Kristin, and the rest of the Eco Divers team for ensuring another great great trip for us. Can't wait for the next one.
Tip 1: no sunscreen allowed to protect the reefs so bring a sun shirt for the surface interval and boat ride if you are worried about sun exposure.
Tip 2: get a paleta across the street post-dive.
