This place is a real treasure! Situated on a hillside with the view over rolling hills and the ocean within close proximity to Te Arai Beach, Forestry and Mangawhai Heads Beach. We came over for a couple 5 day stay and surf. The facilities were great, highlights were large and comfy beds, TV, well-equipped kitchen, showers with good pressure, outside warm showers, beautiful exotic garden and 'Stage' area for barbeque. Oh, they are also dog friendly!
The staff were super friendly, a special shout out to Corne and Jan for being fantastic coaches.
We were pretty unlucky with the weather but we look forward to visiting Aotearoa Surf next year, hopefully in more sunny conditions :)
