I am AOW certified and am serious enough about diving to do it 1-2 times a year. I went to the store with only a mild interest in buying a dive computer and a dry bag. After some conversation with Melissa, I was compelled to buy my own gear (BCD. regulator, dive computer, mask, fins, etc.). As someone who has been diving for only 4 years, it can be easy to be overwhelmed by this. Melissa is extremely knowledgeable and patient. She was able to explain all the equipment down to the materials. She custom fit me right there for a BCD. I'm sure once I get to use all the new gear, it will make a WORLD of difference over rentals. Even trying on a wetsuit and masks had me convinced I was making the right choice. Of course, diving isn't a cheap hobby, but if you plan on doing it regularly in the years to come, it was absolutely worth visiting this shop. Diving gear is all about safety, and Melissa only stocks the best quality brands. I feel 100% confident in the items we purchased. - via
