I have been diving with Narcosis Scuba since 2014, before I even moved to Tampa Bay, and I've always appreciated the professionalism of the staff. I had scheduled an October 2022 night dive with Narcosis, and when the diving had to be changed to the Blue Grotto in Williston for a number of reasons, they gave plenty of advance notice. I had dived this site during the day before, but even as an experienced diver (181 dives) I was a little leery of diving it after dark. Ashley and Justin were excellent divemasters throughout both dives, and with a staff diver from the Grotto helping out the team I can say that I never once felt unsafe. We even saw Virgil the turtle come out to play! My only regret was that both dives were executed after nightfall, as opposed to doing the first dive in daylight so as to allow the team to acclimate themselves to the site. The interval felt a little rushed while switching out tanks and making sure everyone was out of the water by closing time. Most divers were on their way home by the time I disassembled my gear, so I did not get to say thank you to Ashley and Justin for being so professional and personable.
