My experience with Canpar deserves a zero-star rating. Despite paying for next day shipping, they failed to attempt delivery on two consecutive days, as indicated by the "out for delivery" tracking status.
I called customer service who claimed that delivery attempts were made yet there was no signature required and no delivery notice left on my door. I was also home on both days. This leads me to believe the driver didn't make any genuine efforts.
In addition, the customer service was unhelpful and rude, offering no viable solutions except charging an extra fee for a "reattempted" delivery, even though there were no prior attempts.
Now, I have to personally retrieve the package, causing an additional business day's delay, completely defeating the purpose of choosing next day shipping. This delay is highly inconvenient since I needed the package three days ago. Canpar's service has been wholly unacceptable, unreliable and disappointing. - via
