We don’t easily rate anything 5 stars but Dharavandhoo Divers dive shop is more than worth it.
The team, led by Italian instructors Jessica and Andrea, with instructor Morgan also a part of the outfit is simply extraordinary. The captains Hussein and Mostafa with their deck-hand Mate complete the line-up on a nice big wooden boat with all commodities including a toilet.
Knowledge, kindness, lots of smiles, passion and seamless coordination made it all a very easy-going and memorable experience.
The shop provides free Nitrox, coffee and tea and cookies in between dives and the sites surrounding Dharavandhoo are a real pleasure to dive and quite diverse. Lots of reef life and bigger beasts like sharks
and eagle rays.
Jessica was accompanying us on our dives and you can feel that she is passionate about what she does plus she sees everything underwater. Her briefings were always clear and the onboard team made sure everything was safe. The equipment is very well kept.
We are 2 experienced divers and rarely do we come upon such tightly run shops and connect immediately with whole team. Communication was easy and flowing.
We were not in season for Manta Rays but the captain spotted 2 of them while getting to a planned diving site and called it so we all jumped off the boat and got to snorkel over to them. We are so thankful for that.
We highly recommend this dive shop that fits so well the relaxed mood of Dharavandhoo.
