Climbing Mt Kenya with Mr Patrick as our guide and his beautiful team was probably one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend you to get in touch with Mr Patrick and let him guide you up this spectacular mountain. Communication before arrival in Kenya was very easy, all questions were answered immediately and in detail. Mr Patrick organised transportation to pick us up in Nairobi. Shortly after our pickup we met the rest of our team which would help us carry our things up the mountain and prepare the most delicious, filling and thoughtful meals for us. Over the course of four days, these people became dear to us, as they are cheerful and loving bunch! The route suggested by Mr Patrick was amazing, filled with stunning landscapes and little adventures. We walked at a comfortable pace, that didn’t leave us puffing at the end of a hill but simply allowed us to continue further and further up. Mr Patrick knows and takes the risks of high altitude serious, giving enough time and advice on adjusting to it. Climbing up to the summit of Mt Kenya early to watch the sunrise felt safe with Mr Patrick and our wonderful second guide Michael - it was spectacular!
