I've never considered myself an ocean person until the day I discovered scuba with Mauri at Pacific Ocean Water Sports. The first time I had ever fully submerged myself into the ocean was the day I began my Open Water Certification with Mauri back in October. Since then I have completed 10 certifications with 4 more in the works ! Mauri is an amazing instructor who values safety more than anything. He may sometimes be tough, and harsh, but it's all for the benefit of yourself in becoming one of the best scuba divers out there. I would not recommend anyone else. I have met amazing people and friends through this shop. I am thankful to Amanda, Dylan, Tara, Wendy and Jake for welcoming me into this community. I am happy to consider Mauri as a mentor in my life and excited to participate in many of the future activities guided by the dive shop. - via
