Very sad to say I had an awful experience with this company. I was won over by the idea of supporting a female led organization, understanding the difficulties they face in Nepal, however I was given a very low quality service and a miserable guide that made me feel frustrated after my day with her.
I would have tipped her if she would have even asked my name. She didn’t talk to me throughout the entire day, didn’t ask where I came from or even pretend to be interested in my company. She clearly did not want to be there and did not put any effort in whatsoever. As I was solo, this made the experience bad. Nobody wants to feel like the guide is ‘forced’ to be there. Entertaining the guest is part of guiding. I didn’t even need entertainment but it would have been nice to have some friendliness, maybe even a smile from her. I cut the day short because it was so awful. The gear we used was also bad quality… not what you want when you are climbing. Overall a Big disappointment. - via
