A kiteboarding lesson had been on my bucket list for years, and Alex delivered beyond my wildest expectations. I don’t have any pictures because from the moment we got there until the moment I left, it was all learning, action, and total immersion. Alex has a wealth of experience kiteboarding, and has the unique ability to break complex concepts like kite setup, controlling the kite, and setting up a kite-powered self-rescue into understandable processes. Best of all, even during technical explanations, Alex continually reminded me not to overthink things and to feel the wind and the flow of the sport. All in all, I learned more than I could have expected, got a window into the sport, and progressed rapidly. I’ll definitely be hitting Alex up for a second lesson next time I make it to PR! - via
