Purchased scuba diving equipment last year from this shop. 11 months later an unauthorized purchase was made on my credit card. I inquired with the shop and was ignored. Last month another unauthorized purchase, this time a shop worker tried to assist but was intervened to assist further by the general manager Mike Agee. Thankfully another worker provided me with the invoice of the purchase beforehand. I contacted the individual on the invoice and turns out he paid cash for the item i was charged for. The shop double charged for the item. The individual also went into the shop on my behalf and explained the situation. I was reimbursed for one purchase (thanks to store staff), but Mike Agee had no clue this had happened and had no interest in helping me in the first place, nor did he make any effort to reimburse the remaining owed amounts. Shame on Mike & his pitiful customer service & attitude! Thankfully there are still some good natured people in the world that try to make a wrong a right. My credit card # ended up on multiple accounts at Honolulu Scuba Company & the shop made charges on it, they also weren't honest about validating identification prior to processing the card. I don't normally make an issue, but when the GM of a company takes zero responsibility of his own company's fault, that's where I draw the line! I tried a couple times to explain but he had no interest. Beware allowing HSC to responsibly take care and control of your credit card information, because Mike Agee will most definitely not assist! - via
