I just did my AOW certification through Blue Marlin Komodo. First off, the in-office experience was not the best. I was told conflicting information regarding e-learning and prices when I first came to check-in the day before the dives and they forgot to get me fitted for gear so I had to come back to the shop later that same day. It was a little confusing and frustrating, but it all got sorted out so no huge deal.
The reason they get 5 stars is because everything surrounding the actual diving was fantastic. My instructor was Harold, and he was amazing. He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and eager to share his tips and wisdom with me. In just two days, I feel like I learned so much thanks to his instruction. I would come back just to dive with Harold again. The dive sites were great: we saw so many manta rays, turtles, sharks, and much more. All in all, a great diving experience with Blue Marlin. - via
