First, the jump itself was great and the instructor was very enthusiastic and helpful while getting the kit on and on the plane etc. Brad was great.
BUT we were supposed to jump at 1pm and didn’t jump until 7:30pm. Now I can excuse issues like wind or one of the instructors having to stop because they got injured, but there was no communication from the staff whatsoever and they didn’t seem to care. When we arrived we got “we are running a little late” and we waited an hour before going to the staff and asking what was happening and the excuse was “these things happen”. We ventured over to the reception area to check the situation several times over the 6 and a bit hours we were there and every time we got an annoyed reaction from the staff and an non committed excuse (“just you know, these things happen”) about why it was taking so long.
By the time it got to the jump all my excitement had gone, I just wanted it over with, and that’s what I’ll remember from this experience. Not the jump (which was good but not worth the wait), but the waiting in a hot field for hours while the staff didn’t seem to care.
I recommend skydiving, I don’t recommend going here. - via
