Next level experience. I am a 56 y.o. woman and was up on a (foam) board day 1, made it to a fiberglass board by mid-week. Traveled with my non-surfing husband but there were many solo surfers in my group. Even if you go with other people take the time to meet the other surfers, incredible interesting people from all over, it really is part of the experience. Rustic vibe but charming. Drank the tap water, no problem. Drank the margaritas, no comment. Reasonably priced compared to other options. Now my husband wants to go back to learn to surf - pack the rash guard and let's go! - via
