This is a feedback more than criticism for the supposed free activities provided at the Riu montego bay location by Scuba carribe. We wanted to sail in the bay, I understand they want to be careful with their equipment and liability but being so careful and only allowing people with “sail license” defeats the purpose of having people enjoy the experience of sailing. Have an instructor provide proper training (paid) to get guests acquainted with boats, local conditions and limits for sailing versus denegrating someone that couldn’t sail around their bay first time. Even experienced captains take on local pilot to get in and out of ports. I feel they are only keeping sail boats as relics to show they have them on display. Change the policy and allow people to safely experience the beautiful sailing on these hobie cats or remove them completely.
