Our very much looked forward to 7 night cruise, was unfortunately a non event for us and about 30 other couples, owing to "paperwork that had not arrived from Paris". Apparently the paperwork was expected a few days previously, as other unhappy travellers had been to the Marina the previous Saturday and also the day before our anticipated departure, and had been told that the boat would definitely be sailing on Tuesday 12th March. There were not enough staff to deal with travellers wanting to change flights and book hotel accommodation. Apparently an email had been sent out, but only one person received that email, and it was received at 10.20am, while standing in the queue at checkin. No one wanted to "come back tomorrow " as we were asked to do, and had been told to several people on the previous Saturday and Monday. We certainly did not want to walk away having booked another trip, with the uncertainty of sailing. We did ask that an email be sent to us detailing how to make our claim for a full refund. I can see now that we wise not to rebook. It would seem that there are no 7 night cruises available in the near future on Captain Cook Cruises Fiji, nor on many of the most common booking sites. It would be wonderful if Captain Cook Head Office would offer a response regarding the above. - via
