Overall this was an interesting experience and I felt the staff were attentive to being respectful of the manatees, but I do think the cost of this trip is severely overpriced. They need to be more upfront on their website of peak seasons, which are going to be in January not in March. Scant manatees on my trip, other reviews seem to be lots of manatees. If you are this rich to take a family book in the AM. Also the water had very poor visibility, and for me it very hard to see much. Anyway in hindsight, I would’ve been happy in a kayak seeing them come to surface. It’s a nice and private tour but ‘$500 per person after taxes worth private??’ No. Then, You just paid half of a grand to take their trip and then they offer you an optional $40 charge if you want the underwater pictures? Ya no. Really guys? I got more out of the fish and seeing the springs, the ride thru the canal and just seeing manatees come up to breath. Reasonable would be 150$ easily. I just feel like overall they are taking terrible advantage of tourists. Were they nice people? Yes. Were they professional? Yes. My advice: Rent a clear bottom kayak and do it that way and don’t break the bank. - via
