The snorkeling was okay. We saw a couple different types of fish. The instructor was really nice! Our problem was with the sales guy at RIU Palace. He sold us by saying it was a private tour for our family of 4 and that there would be 4 different snorkeling spots. He also stated we would snorkel for 1 1/2 hrs. Instead we visited one dive spot and we were only there for 1/2hr. Also we ended up snorkeling with a group of 10 people. Don’t fall for the sales pitch as it is almost all a big lie to up-sale you so he can get more commission!! Very dishonest and RIU should not tolerate this sales gimmick on their resort!! - via
