Another fantastic adventure. 16 days combining white water rafting, hiking and the amazing beauty set in 226 miles of the Grand Canyon. The guides and assistants were knowledgeable, helpful, skilled and outgoing. The food was amazing with fresh avocados even on the last day. Breakfasts from eggs to order to Mediterranean scramble, lunch from salads to wraps and suppers from grilled salmon to steak to southwest casserole with dutch oven desserts on many of the nights. The geology of the canyon was seen from the river and on the hikes up from it with the guides explaining it. They also provided the history of the exploration of the river as well as what has been learned of the early native people and how they lived and how their beliefs are still important do their descendants today. Put this one on your bucket list. - via google
