After having a horrible experience with an independent Scuba Instructor, I contacted Ocean Explorers to confirm my suspicions that I may have been duped and sure enough I was! After speaking with Donna over the phone I was still cautious, however after visiting the shop and I signed up for the beginning course. First night of course I still had some level of anxiety from my prior experience (4 days prior). Both Jay and Mari put me at ease, made me feel like tonight may not have been my night but to come back and try again on the next class date. I am happy to say that I've been doing well in the classes (at least I think so hahaha) and plan to continue my diving adventures and continue my education with them. They ARE the shop to visit for ALL your diving needs or questions and they'll make you feel like part of the family!!!! Love these guys xoxo - via 
I signed up for the Rescue course with Mark, this was the first course I've taken with the shop and all I can say is this... if you want a passionate instructor that will teach you the course content, add in some real life situations and practice scenarios, Mark is your guy!!! You can tell he wants all of his students to learn the skills that are required and necessary as well as troubleshoot scenarios you can't plan for. I've been to a few dive shops up and down the eastern seaboard and Mad About Diving is hands down one of the most knowledgeable and fun shops I've had the opportunity to learn with. Thank you!!! - via
