We had such an awesome whitewater experience with Tahoe Whitewater Tours. We went on the Truckee River in mid August, as it was my first time, and it was a good mix of relaxing, swimming in the river at a few swimming holes and experimenting really fun rapids. It was very well organized and all the guides were fun, especially Skylar, as he made learning about the sport fun and easy to remember.
Our raft guide was Izzy and she was so knowledgeable, calm and helped guide us through some tough areas and tough situations. She was funny and confident. The photographer, Chris was so awesome. They offer a thumb drive with photos and I highly recommend getting this, as you will get photos throughout your trip on a thumb drive by the end of the trip. I was very impressed how quickly he captured all the moments on the camera, organized them and got them on a thumb drive, all in time for us to take home.
I highly recommend the Truckee River with Tahoe Whitewater Tours, for first timers and children, and other rivers for more experienced individuals.
