What a great experience!!! I recently had my first jump here and enjoyed every single second of it!! My original plan was to do it on 2/29, because that day only comes once every four years, but unfortunately weather had other ideas (I ended up doing it the next day). That morning, I got a call from the place warning me about the weather, and they were super nice and understanding and they told me I could still go over there and hang out in case the weather improved so I could take the opportunity. I ended up doing that and even though the weather that day did not improve, I was still able to get all the paperwork and training out of the way so when I went back in the next day I would already have that taken care of. Plus, the guy who was at the front desk that day (I never got his name but he was great) gave me and a couple other people who were also there a tour of the place which I thought was really cool. Unfortunately the weather did not get better that day but I was glad I got to get acquainted with the people there, and I ended up rescheduling for the next day.
The next day when I went to do my jump for real, I couldn't have had a better experience. My instructor, Nikolas, made me feel super comfortable and safe, which is important if you're jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. He made sure I understood everything I was supposed to do, when it was time to pull the parachute, etc etc. And my videographer, Yoshi, made a great video for me that I am so glad I have now to look back on. He also interviewed me at the beginning and I thought the interview turned out great. All in all, I had a wonderful first jump experience here and I would absolutely do it again :) - via
