The manager who assisted me with my reservation was very helpful and courteous. Check in was painless and it didn't take long to set up. I selected site #18 as it has a spectacular view of the lake, 180* vista. Shade is sparse and intermittent, know that going in. The stone table and lantern post were precariously perched on the edge of a steep and rocky incline, so I didn't use it. The swimming section of the lake was clean and there was enough exposed sand for several to occupy, but I had it to myself for most of the day. The bathroom was the greatest disappointment as it was gross, as in dried fecal matter caked to the commode.
I would recommend this to others looking for a less crowded option for lake access camping. - via
