I went here over 10 years ago already. I made the mistake of thinking it’d be high school continued. Even though I took some AP courses in high school the school work at Rutgers was much more challenging and thorough. Rutgers is an AAU school so many professors heart imo lied with their research not teaching. But it sounds that’s an issue with most universities not just Rutgers. Many classes were graded on a curve.
I tended to think most course work was way abstract without much practicality to the working and service world. I learned time management skills at Rutgers but I wish I could say I learned more real life skills to use at work.
I would not talk someone out of going here as many love it but it wasn’t for me. My review of 2 stars might seem harsh but they have plenty other good reviews to balance it out. Also, 250 million dollar debt spending by the University on football. Shameful! - via
