Most expensive divecenter on Koh Tao
Reef Dive centre on Koh Tao is the most expensive dive center on Koh Tao. Their prices are almost double than the other divecenters. This because they are located in a resort that claims to be a 4*. (hahaha)
Very unpleasant speedboat captain that needs to learn what the term service with a smile means.
Their big boat always moores up way to far, so our surface swim was very long. When the instructors mentioned this to the captain he got agressive towards the crew and starts shouting in Thai. This in plain sight.
Many times our tanks were only 150 bar or even lower. The Thai crew does not care. The instructors do, but have no saying nor control. Not one single Thai staff has scuba experience, but will agrue with the instructors. (and this in front of the guests)
This dive centre has a lot of potential, but the Thai managment of the resort controls everything, ...and thats why this centre is failing.
Go diving somewhere else. - via
