We're back! Absolutely wonderful trip. Just enough time in each quite interesting but different location. Buenos Aires is a great city and after our private tour with an awesome Victoria we had our bearings and made a friend. Were able to walk, bus and train around the city with confidence and experienced many of the neighborhoods, including the Jewish area of Once, great restaurants museums and a synagogue. Our one touristy event was the Gala Tango, though we really did enjoy it too. El Calafate in southern Patagonia was just beautiful with great tours visiting the glaciers and an estancia which included a gourmet lunch. With it's constant high winds, El Calafate should steal the name "windy city" as Chicago doesn't come close, except for the reference to it's politicians, of course. - via
