We went out on Max Reef and Dupot Bridge Span 3 on October 28th for my birthday. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The boat had water and snacks available. The cabin was nice to store our dry goods in.
The dive master was incredible (I think it was Mayday?), the crew as well. I have really bad arthritis and fybromyalgia. To add to that I am super buoyant. I addressed my concerns with the DM and he took it in stride and made me feel comfortable about it. The water is the only place I don't feel pain and the only place that my health issues dont affect me. I actually can keep up and sometimes do better then my professional diver husband! Because of the professionalism of their DM, I would most certainly go with one of their charters again.
The rental process of the gear was great. We were fitted until we found the right gear that worked for us. We were also given tips for the mask that I had never heard of before, which contributed to a flawless experience with my mask. I didn't have to clear it once. Don't hesitate to rent their gear!!! With that said, some was worn and needed to be replaced - but it wasn't unsafe. I am referring to my booties that I rented and a wetsuit that I had tried on during the fitting that the knee was ripped out on. There was some ageing on the outside of the buddy line going to the regulator - reg was in great condition, line was just starting to dry rot, but there was no leaking of air. Don't let this worry you. This is a nit pick just to let the owner know.
We will be back to do dives with them!!! - via
