If the tour is advertised as 3 hours, you should probably look for manatees for the full time. We found one sleeping manatee this morning and our guides called it a day after 20 minutes of swimming with him. There were a couple of other manatees swimming around the springs. It would have been nice to go catch up with them. We were on the water for less than an hour. As my 6-year-old said, "that's it?".
I understand there aren't a lot of manatees around, but that means you should work harder to find them. We were disappointed. - via
